Besides digging the web block created by the spider, killing the following creatures grants 25% chance to get a web:
Giant Spider
Ghost
Banshee (multiplayer)
Mad Rider (multiplayer)
In all worlds and in some biomes:
- the ancient winch found in the crypts will drop 3 or 6 webs when dismantled.
In the Beetles Biome:
- some green slimes attached under foreground blocks and on background blocks, drop 2 webs when extracted; and
- the beetles eggs drop 2 or 3 webs when extracted.
Availability[]
Web is a rare resource in the early-game, because there are no spiders on this stage. It is less abundant in the Underground World, because there are no spiders in there. And is very limited in biomes because there are no ghosts or spiders in there.
